Another TSA officer assigned to Logan International Airport has been arrested in a sweeping, multi-agency child pornography crackdown. It is just the latest embarrassment for the troubled TSA. TSA agent Jose E. Salgado, 59, of Chelsea was suspended from his job after the TSA learned much belatedly that local law enforcement agencies were charging him with possession and distribution of child porn. Seemingly endless arrests of TSA agents on child porn,rape and sexual misconduct charges across the nation have fueled criticism of the agency’s screening of its own employees, tasked with patting down the traveling public. Numerous other TSA officers assigned to Logan have faced sex charges in recent months. TSA employees across the nation have been charged and convicted of stalking, rape, child molestation, gun rampages,grand theft and a litany of others in a continuing crime spree unprecedented in any other government agency .
