West Palm Beach, Florida, police are going undercover as giant Easter bunnies. As morning church traffic slowed to a crawl to let the kiddies have a look at the friendly bunny, motorists saw the Easter Bunny with a sign reading "Have a safe, hoppy holiday!" And through the large, netted eyes of the bunny costume's large head, the cop was watching them right back, while calling out car descriptions over a police radio hidden inside the bunny suit as to who had a seatbelt on and who didn't. Cops hiding down the street then swooped in and arrested motorists for seatbelt violations and anything else the could dream up. A similar program in Glendale, Calif. was shut down in 2010 for being "too dangerous," but in Florida, it has been pretty successful so far: In just two hours, 50 motorists were arrested.
