A Fredericksburg Va. man faces two counts of assault for allegedly pointing his finger at police officers, another example of how any behavior except complete subservience to law enforcement is now being treated as a crime. David Loveless, who has no criminal record, was arrested and handcuffed last week after he allegedly pointed his index finger at police. Police said it looked "like a gun" and they were frightened and intimidated.

Florida Trooper And A Gang Of TSA Agents Plead Guilty To Smuggling Narcotics Across State Lines
A Florida state trooper accused of hiring himself out as a bodyguard to a narcotics ring that smuggled drugs into Connecticut has pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy charges in federal court. Justin Kolves, 29, was one of 20 people  including two police officers and three TSA officers.charged in September as participants in a ring that smuggled enormous quantities of highly addictive pain medication from Florida to Connecticut. Kolves faces as much as 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in June. He pleaded guilty Friday to conspiracy to possess and distribute oxycodone. He resigned from the Florida 
Highway Patrol after his arrest.
