STATE OF LOUSIANA CALLING FOR FEDERAL TROOPS ON IT'S STREETS!
Lawmakers in Louisiana are calling for National Guard troops to patrol the streets of New Orleans.  The last time troops were involved in domestic law enforcement in the state, they were used to confiscate legally owned firearms in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Concern about military involvement in domestic law enforcement, which is a violation of Posse Comitatus, has surged in recent weeks because of the passing into law of the NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT which allows Americans to be arrested and held in a detention camps without charges or trial.
