DNA ROADBLOCKS COME TO AMƎЯIKA
Cops were busy this weekend collecting saliva and blood samples from surprised drivers at roadblocks in Alabama. The federal government's pilot program of using local law enforcement to draw blood from motorists was kicked off in Alabama last weekend. Drivers were offered $50 for a vile of blood removed from their arm alongside the road in two Alabama counties. Along with the blood and saliva samples volunteers were required to fill out a lengthy questionnaire about lifestyle, drug usage, including over the counter and prescriptions they take and medical conditions. All this unconstitutional lunacy was conducted in carwash no less. Watch for them soon in your own community, they're coming. According to Lt. Freddie Turrentine of the Sheriff’s Department, drivers were asked to voluntarily offer samples of their saliva and blood for a study being conducted by the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation which was hired by the Federal Govt. (NHTSA) to collect  DNA blood samples alongside the road!  According to Lt. Freddie Turrentine with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department, drivers were asked to voluntarily (after  being told by armed cops with flashing lights to pull over)  give up samples of their saliva and blood for a study being conducted by the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation. “What they are trying to do is 60 sites across the country,” he said, explaining the study will be conducted from June to October. Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley said Tuesday he has asked his secretary of law enforcement, Spencer Collier, to look into what happened. The governor said he has questions about how and why the surveys were carried out and what is being done with the information collected. State Attorney General Luther Strange said he learned about the activities from news stories. "I am shocked. This is very troubling and I intend to get to the bottom of it," Strange said in a statement. Police officers in two Alabama counties (and soon to go nationwide) were used to set up the roadblocks for the study by the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation. They were part of a series of roadblocks nationwide to study alcohol and drug use by motorists. The study is funded by the National Transportation Safety Board. A reluctant motorist who participated early Saturday morning, 32-year-old Erika Skeivelas, told AL.com that it didn't seem completely voluntary because two deputies had their blue lights flashing and stopped vehicles. "I tend to do what an officer tells me," she said. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is an agency of the Executive Branch of the U.S. government which means Barak Obama has direct control of these unconstitutional, unsanitary and totally invasive and illegal roadblocks!!!
THIS IS A FEDERAL PROGRAM USING YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PAID FOR WITH YOUR TAX DOLLARS!
