TOO SMART TO BE A COP?

 

IF YOUR IQ IS OVER 104 YOU CAN'T BE A COP IN THE UNITED STATES

THIS COULD EXPLAIN A LOT OF WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THIS COUNTRY , REMEMBER , ALL COPS REGARDLESS OF RANK OR TENURE HAD TO QUALIFY TO THIS LOW STANDARD TO GET A JOB AS COP  IN AMERICA
A man whose bid to become a police officer was rejected after he scored too high on an intelligence test has lost an appeal in his federal lawsuit against the city of New London Connecticut. Robert Jordan, who has a college degree, took the standard police exam used across the country and scored 33 points, the equivalent of an IQ of 125. But American police departments hire only candidates who score 20 to 27, the equivalent of an IQ of 104.The U.S. District Court found that New London had “shown a rational basis for the policy.” In a ruling dated Aug. 23, the 2nd Circuit agreed. However,the U.S. district Court did state that the policy might be unwise. The average score nationally for police officers is 21 to 22, the equivalent of an IQ of 104, not exactly the brightest bulbs in the marquee. God forbid this country should hire bright people to carry guns and uphold the constitution. With the advent of police now using automatic weapons, tanks and drone aircraft as well as spying on us with sophisticated surveillance gear it seems the American people and the constitution  would be better served by not hiring cops who are only slightly smarter than trained chimps.
