Unfortunately the TSA has a track record of making reassuring statements, then ratcheting up their abuse of citizens. In November 2010 Mr Pistole (TSA) announced on NBC’s Today Show that it has eliminated patdowns for children under 12. Pistole also announced to Congress on November 17, 2010 that children 12 years old and under are exempt from pat-downs. They continue to this day to do grop-downs on tiny babies. It's amazing that this new announcement simply exposes TSA's lies.
